I need help calculating days btw 2 tasks

I need help basically calculating lead time for a portion of a project.

For example to Calculate Planned days I need a formula that would subtract the date the Samples where approved from the date the Mass Production is scheduled for delivery. So the formula would calculate something like this: MP Receival - Golden Sample approved

You should be able to just reference those cells.

So if Mass Production is on row 3 of the [Date Column] and Golden Sample Approved is on row 12 of the same column, it would look something like this...

=[Date Column]3 - [Date Column]12

Should I insert a new column for Text/Number where this would be calculated.

It depends on your setup. Are you able to provide a screenshot with sensitive/confidential information removed, blocked, or replaced with "dummy data"?
