Improvements to Smartsheet Sights™, Reports, and User Management

I have created a time off tracker for my employees. When I share the report for them to see their time off report they cannot see it. It works for me, but not for anyone else. Does the original sheet have to be shared to the report users as well? I must be missing something.
Update: I tested my hypothesis. The original sheet that the report is coming from must be shared to each user that see's the report. This is unfortunate because my idea will not work now. Maybe there is a workaround for this?
