I have a cell in a report that is not wrapping the text
The actual task sheet that contains that data has the text wrapped but for some reason it's not carrying over that way - I have tried to remove and re-add the column with no luck, all the other columns are fine

I worked with Smartsheet support and we found the issue there were multiple sheets feeding and one of them didn't have the word wrap up - support was great!

Can you share a screenshot of how it looks in the sheet and the report?
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

I suggest reaching out to support. It sounds like a bug to me if it is working in some places but not in others.

I am having this same issue I think. Since the advice here was to contact support, I am guessing what is occurring is not supposed to be happening. Is that correct? Within a sheet, I have a cell with Cell Wrap on. This is working great. When I pull that column into a report, it doesn't wrap. The only way to see all of the text is to increase the width of that column. When I pull this report into a Dashboard, it is the same as the report. It does not show all of text unless you scroll to the right. Is the report supposed to be wrapping text? If so, should the text also wrap on the dashboard? If this is the case, I will get a ticket in as well. I just am unsure about which formatting options are supposed to flow from sheet to report to dashboard.Thanks.

So as with @Lori Jordan , mine was a similar issue. The original sheet had word wrap on. It wasn't showing up in a report and then dashboard. The problem was I forgot the data flows from sheet to Summary Sheet to report. On the Summary Sheet, I didn't have it wrapped. Hope this helps other people. Thanks.

Just wanted to echo what James M. said in January 2020. I was experiencing this issue. The problem was that I did not wrap the text in the Summary sheet I created. Human error. The ONE thing they can't engineer out.
