Can I use a form to complete a partially-completed row?

I know forms are used to add data to a sheet, but can a form be used to complete/edit a row that is already filled in?

a form always is entered on a new row in a sheet. You can use an update request to modify a row, or you can use some sort of field to reference correct values together when a form is submitted, but you cannot directly modify a row with a form.
