Portal Shortcut to a Template I've Created?

I have created a template to use in opening customer based Sheets. I would like to add a shortcut to that template on my Portal. The template doesn't appear as a Smartsheet item (like other sheets, for instance), nor does it appear to have an associated URL (like forms). How can I add a shortcut?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to link to a template, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment to have your vote added

As a possible workaround, you could use a sheet as a template instead.

Would that work?
