roadmap for adding functionality of "merging cells" in the same row or in same column like Excel!

I have seen discussions many users are asking this functionality.

Do anyone know if there is any update roadmap to make cell merge possible? This is very basic feature of any smart or non-smart sheet :)

Hi Wade,

I agree that would be a great addition to Smartsheet features, but it's probably complicated to add it because of how Smartsheet works.

I would be happy if we could have something like "design rows/columns" with dividers, titles, and much more.
