Saving a certain view of a sheet and embedding the view

Hello,

Is it possible to create a certain view in Smartsheet and save that particular view? Also, would it be possible to embed that view in a dashboard?

What kind of view would you like?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Hi,

For instance, I have row A, B, C in Sheet 1. Each row has 3 sub-rows (indented rows). I want to create a view where, for example, rows A and B are collapsed and row C is expanded. I want to create a view like this. Then, I would like to embed this view in a dashboard where the audience are concerned only with row C and its sub-rows. Today, they get to see all the rows and have to hide manually.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could maybe use a report instead. Would that work?
