How can I have a copy of a form emailed removing certain fields?

I have created a disciplinary form and I have a notes section for managers, I want them to be able to send a copy to the agent but not have the notes section be included in the email they get. Is there a way to pick and choose which fields are included in the email copy?

Hi Rachel,

You can set up a workflow with an alert where you select which fields should be included.

Would that work?
