Calendar in Smartsheet - selecting a date many years ago

Hello,

I'm setting up a form for my colleagues using Smartsheet, and have included a date field using the "Calendar" option. In most cases, the date they select will be anywhere from the 1980s to 2015. The calendar option defaults to the current date, and as far as I can tell, there isn't an option to select a year, then the month/date. This means they'll spend a lot of time clicking back through each month manually.

Is there a way to easily select a date that is 5, 10, 20+ years in the past, without manually entering it?

Hi Jennifer,

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment to have your vote added

As a possible workaround, you could set up three dropdown list for year, month and date and then that would be converted to the date.

Would that work?
