Time Column Format

Is there a column type in Smartsheet to allow a user to select a time , ie 12:45 PM or 5:15 AM, in Smartsheet?

Unfortunately, there isn't at the moment, but Smartsheet is working on it.

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment to have your vote added

There are workarounds, but they are fairly advanced.

How would you like to use it?

I am using the time field so a user can input a time that an activity happened because they may not be filling out a form the same time an activity happened. I then want to use the time and the activity type to do a scatter/plot type graph for forecasting. I haven't tackled the graph yet since Smartsheet doesn't have that type of graph. If you have any suggestions on that I would love to hear them!

When do you think this functionality will be available? In my case it is very important. I am surprised by the lack of such a column that it seems that it should be basic.

It's hard to imagine a spreadsheet designed to track progress and task management does not yet incorporate a column for time. Is there a "time" frame we might be expecting this function? Trying to work a "time" column or similar "due by" function. Need to be able to have time of day. Anyone have a work around to the current lack of a time option?

Really frustrating they havent released anything on this despite saying it was 'Hopefully Soon' way back in 2020.
