Unable to get Sort to Operate

When I create a report, eventually I will assign a group to sort by.  On group commonly used is my Docket No., another is Referee and sometimes by Case No. Lately the report that I created will ONLY sort by Case No. even though I have requested it to sort by Docket No. What should I do.

    Hello—to clarify: are you reapplying the sort by Docket No as new data is added to the report? Sorts aren't automatic, so you need to manually reapply them as new information becomes available.

     

    Otherwise, if your Docket No. contains a mix of numbers, letters, and symbol characters, they're treated as text. It's possible that when you apply the sort, it isn't working as expected since it's sorting alphanumerically.

    That was the problem, there were some alphanumerics that were clogging the works. Thank you.
