Limiting checkbox to certain rows

Hi all,

I am trying to assign checkbox's to only my activities list rows but all the rows in my sheet are populating a check box and I want to removing them from my row headings. Basically I want to have only the rows with hyperlinks to have checkbox options. I cant seem to figure this out.

Hi Gabe,

As a workaround, you can add punctuation and color it the same color as the background, so it’s ”invisible”.

Would that work?

Appreciate the idea but unfortunately no, my goal is to be able to create a reporting metric based on the number of activities that have been checked off or not. I've seen where there are templates that have checkboxes set up this way but can't seem to figure out how to do it.
