Is there a way to add a target line to a column chart on the dashboard?

I’m looking to add a target line to a dashboard column chart like the one in this picture. Another option would be to add color to the 98% text, but I don’t see either options available. Is there a way to add the 98% to the source data that would get the same effect? From what I can tell, you can't mix two types of graphs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

@Andrée Starå is correct in that adding the line to the column chart is not possible, but there are ways to structure your data that would allow you to place an extra bar or bars throughout the current chart to represent the target level, and there are line graphs that can also be used to show actual vs target.

Thanks. They no longer need the target line, but I'll keep in mind the reference bar or line chart next time.

It would depend on how you already have your data structured. Typically it would be another column where you enter the number desired for the target line. Then you include this column on your chart. It could also be done as a row depending on your layout.

This is standard practice on any other application.

I also have a general question - have any of the enhancement requests people are asked to submit ever led to a solution? I've not come across any threads where that was the case which is getting a bit frustrating.

@Gaby I have seen quite a few enhancement requests come to fruition over the years. There are a number of reasons why there are quite a few outstanding though. Some of them may be in the pipeline but of a lower priority, some may require extensive programming, and others may have been requested through a post or comment here but an actual product enhancement request form was never actually filled out (much less likely to be seen).

Smartsheet needs to update its data visualization suite. These workarounds will force users to move to different platforms. I still believe SmartSheet is the most dynamic, but the reporting and dashboarding is very limited.
