Creating a list of top clients

Hey,

I'm having trouble currently : i'm trying to make a top 10 list of our best clients month by month, and i can use the functions Max and Large to get highest revenue among all clients, but how do i go fetch the name of the client associated with ? Is there a function that would allow me to get it automatically based on the maximum number chosen ?

Hi Paul,

1. Create a helper column Just left of Client name
2. Place a formula to rank the clients. =RankeQ(Revenue,Revenue:Revenue)
3. Place 10 vlookup formula to pick client name based on rank in separate cells to get top 10.
4. I had done this on many of my project. They works perfect. RankeQ() is new formula introduced last year that released me from using large() min() and max() functions.

Hi Paul,

What I did in a client solution recently was to create a master metric sheet with all clients and then use a report to show the top clients.

Make sense?

Would that work?
