Milestone reporting across sheets, grouping by sheet name

Hello -

I have a working report to display milestones from across several sheets (projects). However, I'd like to add the project/sheet name as a parent, with the milestones listed as childs (like grouping) to make it easier to view?

Example:

Project/Sheet Name 1

Project/Sheet Name

Milestone 1

Milestone 2

And you would be able to expand or close the project /sheet name to view the milestones or not.

Is there a way to add this grouping level?

Reports do not currently have that functionality. I suggest that when you have a moment, Submit a Product Enhancement Request.

In the mean time, there may be a way to at least get them in the correct order (without indentation) using tiered sorting within the report.

There could also be an option of creating a sheet instead of a report and using cell linking/cross sheet formulas, but that could be difficult to maintain if your list changes frequently.

This is a bummer for sure. The cell linking does work - but it is very cumbersome and time consuming across many projects. Seems like a pretty simple reporting function. :(
