Search Option in Smart Sheet Dashboard

Hi

I have a smartsheet which will be fed by web form by users. Now I should be able to search by first name or last name, since the records count will be in thousands. Any dashboard/report which can have the search feature?

I know in Windows you can use CTRL+F. I am not sure what the Mac equivalent is.

hehe I knew CTRL + F. I was referring to any dashboard template in smartsheet.

I'm not sure I follow. Are you trying to search for a first/last name within a sheet or are you trying to search for a dashboard template?

My user for whom I'm developing this, she needs to be able to search patient by names. I'm just looking is they anyway to do that instead of using smart sheet. Like any dashboard template which reads the smartsheet data and actas front end search tool

You can use the search bar at the top of the screen to search everything for a particular name.

If you are on your home page, it will search all sheets, folders, reports, workspaces, etc. Within a sheet it will give you a listing of all rows.

The only way to use a dashboard to search a specific sheet would be to publish the sheet and use a Web Content widget to display the sheet on the dashboard in which case you may as well just go directly to the sheet.
