Does Smartsheet work with QR codes? When a QR code is scanned can it update the Status in Smartsheet and fill in cells based on the info embedded in the QR code?

There is no current smartsheet ability to directly modify a cell in a sheet based off a QR code, but you can use query strings in combination with a smartsheet webform to achieve something similar. The user will still have to submit the form manually however.

You can use the API to directly modify cells based on a QR scan, but that requires some programming knowledge.

In answer to your question - when a QR code is scanned, can it update the Status in Smartsheet. The answer is by using AppSheet to assist , then yes you can. This functionality is proving very popular because it make Smartsheet more accessible to those workers using mobile devices and avoids complex keyboard type entries.
