How do I make a sort stick on a column?

I know how to sort a column, but it doesn't re-sort when a new item is added, etc. Is there a way to make the sort stay with the sheet, and re-apply the sort with changes?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

A possible workaround would be to use a report instead.
