Copy and paste does not work

I am trying to make a copy and paste from Excel to smartsheet and it does not work.

Having data in "clip holder" , but having the "Paste" in shartsheet greyed out.

This answer is from the other post. Try using CTRL+C and CTRL+V. Did that work?

I tested from Excel and it works for me, but only through CMD+C and CMD+V, Paste in the menu isn't selectable.

Which office/excel version are you using? Which browser are you using?

Tried ctrl-C and ctrl V - does not work

Browser : IE and Excel Office 365 ProPlus ver 1808

Some users have been lucky with using Chrome and it works - sometimes ! - not always
