Approval Request - Email without fields content?
Hello,
I'm using the Approval Request but I'm struggling with the situation, that the email already contains and shows the whole information / fields which are presented in the form anyways.
People get confused and often don't see the link to click on - even the information in the email tells them to use the link......
Is there a possibility to show only the customized text (including the placeholders) and the button with the link to the form in the email?
Example: I don't need the yellow marked content in the email but I need it in the form!
Thanks for any help,
Gottfried

Hi Gottfried,
Yes, you can use the Placeholders and remove the fields, but it will not show them in the form either.
Would that work?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

Hi Andree,
no, that will not work because I need the fields in the form but I want to get rid of them in the email.
Thanks,
Gottfried

Ok.
You can show the same information as the placeholders instead in the approval.
Make sense?
Would that work?

Hi Andree,
Do I understand it correctly:
The form will show 'nothing (or at least 1 field)' beside the "Approve" and "Decline" button, everything else is in the email and shown via the placeholders.
Didn't think about this possibility - will be a lot of effort (have a couple of different stages and approvals) but it could work out at the end.
Will give it a try and let you know - thanks for the idea.
Best,
Gottfried

Yes!
let me know if it works for you!
More info:
Pro tip. Use Placeholders to make it easy to change a specific text in the alert. Change once and it updates in alls alerts that has the placeholder.
