Open Update Form fields - cannot edit all fields

I have a Go Live date field that I want the recipient of my Send Update Request to be able to update. As shown in the pic below, it's not editable. The field in issue in the Smartsheet row to which this is linked is editable; i.e., not a parent row where a child task is driving the date. Help?

Hi Steven,

• Are you using dependencies?
• Is the column locked?
• Is there a formula in the cell?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some more screenshots of the sheet? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Thanks for your reply.

Here's a screen shot to show two things:

1, the Go Live field is blue

2, "i" note. I must have to do something here to fix that?

You can't change it because of that you have Dependencies enabled.

Ahhh I get it now - thank you very much! ...so that's why I have another sheet where parent row dates don't change when the child row dates changed - I must not have dependencies enabled.
