Showing relationships in a roadmap

The dependency column changes project dates and I don't want it to. Is there a way to turn that function off so I can just show relationships or what other ideas do you have for showing multiple relationships within a roadmap on a Gantt view?

If you're a licensed user and shared to the sheet with Admin permissions, you can disable dependencies by following the instructions outlined here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/765727-enabling-dependencies-using-predecessors
