Updating reports directly from a Dashboard/Portal?

We use a dashboard to display 5 different reports (task lists for 5 users). I want the users to be able to update the fields in the report (e.g. % Complete) directly from the dashboard, instead of having to go into the report itself (and then back to the dashboard).

This is a major hurdle to users with low tech confidence.

That's a great idea but it's not currently possible in Smartsheet. Please submit a Product Enhancement Request to get this on their radar!

As a possible workaround, you could use the premium add-on, Dynamic View. We could use the reports as the source for the Dynamic Views, and then the users can edit without leaving the dashboard.

Is that an option?
