Need Admin Approval for access to mobile app
I have a user that is unable to access the Smartsheet app on her iOS phone and gets the following notification.
"Smartsheet needs permission to access resources in your organization that only an admin can grant."
I am using the mobile app without any issues. What needs to be changed to give her access?

Hi @M38a1
To jump in here - Free Users can definitely download the mobile app and use it to collaborate. However based on this error message it doesn't look like this is coming from Smartsheet, but potentially your organization's privacy settings when logging in to Smartsheet - is this possible?
I've seen this message occur before when it's related to a security setting in the organization's Microsoft Azure Active Directory. Permissions to certain apps can only be given by a valid Admin (usually is the IT department). See here for more information on granting access.
(PS - I've deleted the image from the original post as it had an email visible and this is public forum - I hope that's ok!)
Cheers,
Genevieve

Thanks for all the info. I will pass this on to my SysAdmin and see if we can get to the bottom of the issue.

HI @M38a1
The Admin of Smartsheet would go and double check their settings. That has happened to us before and we had to add more permissions to users. Have the System Admin just double check that she is listed as a licensed user (as highlighted in the snapshot below).

Thanks Michele - Does the user have to be fully licensed to use the app or can they just be a free user?
