Check a box based on multiple text specifications

I am trying to have a box checked if a text matches in a certain column.

To do that here is the formula I am using in the "Key Claim?" column which is a checkbox column: =IF([Type of Claim]@row = OR([Key Claim Dealer Codes]1:[Key Claim Dealer Codes]6), 1, 0)

I am getting the #invalid date type error

Hopefully the screenshot below clarifies my formula. Any help would be much appreciated!

When do you want the checkbox to be checked?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

I want the box to be checked when any of the options in the far right "key claim dealer codes column" shows up in the "type of claim" column

=CONTAINS([Type of Claim]@row, [Key Claim Dealer Codes]1:[Key Claim Dealer Codes]6)
