Why are editors unable to sort rows
Currently running into an issue where two of my Smartsheet collaborators are unable to sort columns in one smartsheet, but are able to sort in another.
Under both smartsheets, the following are true:
- Both collaborators have editor access on both sheets.
- Filters were off during testing.
- Column that was selected was not a locked column.
- Attached screenshot below of what the issue looked like on their end.
Their roles in the sheets are to procure materials for various projects and the ability to sort by need/due date is very important.
Has anyone else run into this or similar issues ? Any suggestions on how to resolve the problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm unable to replicate what you're seeing here... I would suggest contacting Smartsheet Support directly (see here), and provide them with the sheet name, a screen capture of the whole sheet, if you are using Project Settings, and the collaborators emails that are unable to sort.

@Ric Fister I am having this same issue with a user now. She has editor permissions and everything is the same on both sheets. She can sort on one sheet, but not on the other. Did you get your issue resolved? If so, please share.
