Good evening,

Are we doing something wrong? When the sheet is "Filter Off" the child rows show. However when I try and use a filter it will not show the child rows anymore which does not help because we need to be able to have the PMs look at just there parent/child rows.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    Hi,

It’s because the filter isn’t configured to show the children.

We’d need to use a helper column to make it work.

The best structure depends on what your filter is set to filter on and what you want to show.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots of the filter? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

    I hope that helps!

    Have a fantastic week!

    Best,

For example, if I have a parent row for "Agenda 2024-02-13" with children rows for "Item #1", "Item #2", and "Item #3", I cannot find a way to filter by "2024-02-13" and have it still show all the children rows for the specific agenda I'm filtering it to.
