Distance of new row from Smartsheet form
after filling out a form and sending it the data appear automatically in a new row.
Unfortunately, the distance between the last and the new entry is arbitrarily different.
Sometimes there are only a few (3-4) rows and sometimes up to 10 rows in between.
Why is it and how can the problem be solved?

The form will populate in the first UNUSED row and not necessarily the first blank row. If a row previously had data in it which you deleted, it is still considered "used" and the form will populate below it. You would need to delete the row itself and not just the data in the row.
