How to set predecessors to cover from FS of one task to the FF of a different task
For example, I want task 67 to auto calculate the date range from the end of task 34 to the end of task 61. How would I write that in the Predecessor field? I have reviewed the documentation and seem to have a brain blockage. Thanks!!

If you turn off Dependencies in your sheet, you can get the same effect by using formulae in your Start and Finish date cells.
E.g. you could set the Start date of task 67 to equal the Finish date of Task 34 and the Finish date of Task 67 could be equal to the Finish date of Task 61
However to get this functionality (using formulae in date cells) you need to turn off the dependencies of the sheet (using the cog in the corner of the Gannt chart) which turns off the arrows in the Gannt...
Sadly it doesn't let us have a mixture of the two :(
If you left the dependencies enabled you could have 2 sets of predeccessors in one cell (i.e. Task 67 could have a FS with Task 34 and a FF with Task 61 but the duration will not autocalculate, you'd have to manually edit the duration for the Gannt chart to show Task 67 as you want it.
Hope this helps a little!
Kind regards

It does. Thank you! Unfortunately, we don't have the "cog" to manipulate page to page to accomplish your formula theory. Good to know that it's an either/or plus manual entry verses me missing a functionality aspect.
Thanks again!
