Using system created date as start in Gantt view

Hi I am trying to set the automatically created date for a row as start date in gantt project settings is this possible?

I have tried to reference from a new column with a formula but it doesn't work either...

You cannot use formulas in columns referenced by dependencies. You would need to either manually enter the date or you would need to turn off dependencies and use formulas to replicate the feature.
