Is there a way to search only within a specific column in a sheet?

It would be helpful to be able to filter a search to only look at a specific column in a sheet. Sometimes I know what column the info I am looking for is in but I am only able to search the whole sheet where there might be more than one instance of that information (but in the wrong column). Also, since the search results don't easily allow you to see where the search term was found, it can be hard to know if I actually found the right row without clicking through multiple search results.

Yes, there is.

If you select the column and search you will only search the column.

Great ideas! That would be great additions to Smartsheet features.

Hi Andre,

Thanks for the input! It is good to know this is possible however I realized that the sheets I usually want to search I view in Card View. Is there a way to select a column when viewing in Card View?
