alert automation with a hyperlink

I created an alert on a condition. In the message sent from the alert I pasted a url to a smartsheet report.

The url is not showing as a hyperlink in the email received. they have to copy and paste it into a browser. How can I make the alert send hyperlink?

Yes. Here is a picture of the alert message I set up. I don't have the email but I saw it. Basically, it looks just like this in the email that is sent. The https is not a hyperlink

It's hard to tell from here but is there a space " " between the end of the link and the Thanks.

@KathyBurger Looks correct, so I think it could be as Ryan mentioned that the URL isn't formatted correct.

Try double-clicking the URL and see what is included.

Was that the error?

it is a carriage return at the end of the url.

I put a blank line before and after the url and that seemed to do the trick. Email came with the text as a hyperlink.
