Hi all, I need to run a monthly report and perform a mail merge of that data into a google doc/pdf. Any pointers on how to perform the scheduled recurrence?
The easiest thing to do would be to use the "Send as Attachment" feature in a Report where you can schedule a weekly or monthly email of the Report as a PDF file. You could also have this attach as an Excel document to bring into Google Docs if needed.

Hi Genevieve, thanks for the response. I need the report to feed a google mail merge, which generates a new list of PDFs. Those are the pdfs I need to have sent. Does that make sense?

Yes, this is the question. How do I automate the generation of the mail merge functionality with google docs.
I am currently researching how to achieve that as well.
I have a sales tracker and each time I get a new lead in the form of request for information, I want to automate sending a brochure personalized to this potential customer. I believe the only way to do it is via mail merge with a set template.
as an alternative, I can create my pdf - not personilized and post it in a link that can be sent back as an automatic response to the client.
