Date and time cell becomes Date only cell on import

When I import a exel file into SS, why does it turn 2020-03-23 08:00:00, into 05/14/20? If there is a way to fix this, preferably from the api, that would be great.

Hi Christopher,

It's hard to tell what's going on without seeing the excel file... I would suggest reaching out to Smartsheet Support and providing them with the file to test, as those dates are very different. Screen captures would also be useful.

They're actually meant to be the same date, mistake on my part, but the format is the important part.
