Connecting Tableau Dashboards to SMARTSHEET
Hey SMARTSHEET Community,
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
We have been using a business plan for SMARTSHEET at our company.
Recently, there was a need to analyze some metrics on Tableau and publish them to our SMARTSHEET dashboards.
After reading a few articles online, we realized that Tableau dashboards can be added to SMARTSHEET only via Tableau Online. So, we used the Trial License of Tableau Online and created Tableau Dashboards. However, when we try to share those Tableau Dashboards' URL through SMARTSHEET's web content widget, it keeps saying that they couldn't connect to the link.
Has anyone been through a similar situation? What is a prospective solution here?

What is the exact error message you get?
Can you maybe share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Thank you for reverting to my post. ^^ is the error we have been getting. Are there any additional steps that we need to take on Tableau Online before sharing it through SMARTSHEET's Web content widget??

It could be the permission settings in either Tableau or Smartsheet that is preventing it from connecting.
Have you checked them?
