Form input to a categorized view

I'm using the Project Mgmt Office template. I'd like my form data to populate a sheet that looks like the above screenshot. Can a new form submission populate child rows under "New" category? And, once the status of project changes from "New" to "SCOPING", can the sheet update automatically and the child row appear under "SCOPING?

If the answer is no, what is the best way to create a view with the statuses grouped together? Will it be another version of the Grid view sheet that is the captures the form data?

I'd like the order of my statuses to be in the above order, which isn't alphabetical.

Thank you!

    Hi Amy,

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

As a possible workaround, you could maybe use the Smartsheet API.

Still, my recommendation would be to either add the new rows at the top of the sheet and then manually move them around depending on the status or to have different sheets by state and the us automation to move the rows to the different sheets automatically.

    Make sense?

Would any of those options work?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
