Primary Column: primary column with Ctr numbers

I have a primary column with Ctr numbers, but filter is not working is it because is a primary column?

@Laura Melendez You should be able to create a filter on a primary column. Can you be more specific? What is the format of the column and what is your filter?

Thanks Mary, as being a primary column format is only text or number and i.e my ctr number is 12345.01 but when i put the filter if I use contain for the main ctr without the extention will throw an empty filter
