Resource View - show detailed tasks when clicking on %'s

Hi! I would like to suggest that in Resource View, it would be very helpful to not just be able to click on the arrow by the person's name, but take it one step further. It's nice that the project link is there, but clicking the project link only opens the project without show you what TASK in particular is scheduled for any given day. It would be great to have another level of icon that you could click (either the %'s that are shown in the calendar area, or some way to have it show you the particular task right below the project link.  

 

As it is, just going to the project link isn't very helpful because you can't tell right away what task may be causing a schedule overload for that resource and for large projects, you may have to hunt through hundreds of line items to figure it out.

Agreed, would be good enhancement.

 

A work around is to create a report for each of your Resources accross all of your projects.  This way the resource can see what they have been scheduled to do and you can also see thier tasks all in one place and could be viewed on either a Gantt view or a Calander View

I've got your votes down for a way to see assigned tasks on a resource directly from the Resource View on our enhancement request list for further consideration.

Another vote. I need to be able to allocate my PM resources from a centralized sheet, meaning allocating one project per row, and I cannot see this in the Resource View because it just pulls the main sheet name.
