How can I use SUMIFS (or another function) to sum values if two rows match each other?

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong now.

Range 2 is from another sheet which has the same first column as this sheet and for which I want the formula to total the numbers in column 10 that match the primary column of this sheet and the Range 2 sheet.

This is not working, Can you please advise as to what I am doing wrong. I would like the formula to add all of the registrants from the Registration Sheet that have the same date as this sheets primary column. The registration sheet guests are column 10 of the registration sheet.
