Unfortunately, there isn't a permanent solution at the moment. There are only possible workarounds.

Strange! Never seen that happen.
If you haven’t already, I would recommend that you reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team.
I think it would have been much better to offer options to your user base:
1) Use the name of the workflow creator
2) Use the name of the sheet owner
3) Use the name of the Smartsheet Automation tool
4 ) Enter the name to be used as the sender of the email
Seriously consider asking your user base before making summary decisions on the use of the platform.
Has there been any update on this feature being corrected. I am an admin and owner for many sheets, and since I am the one who sets up the notifications and automation, this is starting to create confusion. The option that Brian suggested above would be ideal.
How soon can we hope to see this resolved?
Following up on this thread as I'm experiencing the same issue where I'm the creator, but our team fields support questions for the automated workflows. Is it possible to assign a specific email address for responses (not an unmanaged account. but a group DL)? Should I create a user with that email address and transfer ownership?
Another follow up to this thread. Could you make an option to include who the email should come from. I tried changing my name to "Automated Alert" but now all of the sheets and workspaces I own say that is who owns them so that would not work.
We have gone as far as adding "All correspondence should be sent to" sections to all of our workflows but people still email the sheet owners instead.
Add another vote to this, really makes me want to stop developing Smartsheet solutions for other departments.
At least give us the option to choose if the message will appear from us or a generic automation email.
Another Vote to this issue. Please Provide a solution. The name on the email is causing the team to think that the request or follow up is always created by the owner or Admin where as it actually comes from different team members

I'm wondering if there is a way to lock rows 1-12 out of the sorting and filtering of a sheet. I might have take out that part of the from otherwise I dont like how the built in dashboard moves when a sort or filter is applied?
