Sharing and Limiting Report Information

Scenerio - I have a MASTER sheet that I am using to communicate with different contractors via individualized reports.  The contractors are required to make updates to several fields.  Once I assign a line or job to a contractor - it shows up on their  individual report.  Each line/job has contract specific details in the form of an attachment.  Is there a way to limit lines to a specific contractor in the Master sheet.  

 

The attachment has rate details that shouldnt be viewed by other contractors.  I would like to keep all contractors on one Master sheet.  Any suggestions?

Roger,

 

There is not any row/column/cell level permssions available.

If they need to modify the same sheet, then your options are limited.

 

Here's one:

 

Create a Report for each contractor.

Publish the Report and provide each contractor the link to their Report.

They do not need to be shared to the Sheet to see the data.

But ... it isn't editable.

They will have access to the row attachments though.

 

To get them to securely edit certain parts of the sheet, you could try Update Requests, but those are on-time use and do not work in every work-flow.
