Charts and Reports on Dashboards - edit the range?

Hi All,

is there a way to limit the range of a report when creating a chart on a dashboard?

When creating a chart, after selecting the data source, it will automatically select the entire report.

If the report has more than 1 row, it will be then impossible to create a pie chart, and it also means that you will need to create report in a way that they have 1 line only, and you will need to have 1 report for each chart you want to display in the dashboard. This increases exponentially the amount of work to be done from a single sheet to a dashboard with multiple charts.😫

Hi Stafano,

when selecting the source for the chart data, you can mark a specific area of you source sheet. So you can use data in row 1 for chart 1 and data in row 2 of the same sheet for chart 2.

OH ... Didn't realize you could use Sheets to create charts!

I thought you had to use Reports only!!!
