create list based on a word
We have a contractor list that captures our contractors data from a form on our website. Here is the web address if you would like to take a look: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/e69cfae30cc14c0ebc35f351bf9129a5
One of the cool features of this list is that it utilizes a multi-select dropdown menu. The challenge is actually finding and compiling information from the list. We would like to be able to pull specific line/row items based on a single word. For instance: I am looking for a roofing contractor; is there a report or way to pull contractor information based on the word "roof"?

Hi @MMerin
Depending on how many options you might have, you could use the Form Logic with helper columns as a workaround.
Would that work?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Andrée, I don't know. Can you provide more information as to what you are thinking? I am a visual person so I need to see it in my head to figure this out. I've tried downloading to excel but that seems labor intensive.

I created an example.
I'd be happy to share that example.
Please send me an email at andree@workbold.com, and I'll share it with you.

For all others, this was the fix:
A helper column was created then entered a "=Join()" formula to bring all of the entries from the multi-select columns into the helper column. With this, I can do a filter on that column for a specific word. It totally works!
