How do I delete a column in Card View?

I have several old or unwanted columns in Card View. I can move them or collapse them, but I don't see anyway to delete them. They don't appear in Grid View unless I have a task associate with them. Even when this is this is the case I can't find a way to delete the column. Does anybody have any solutions?

You’ll need to remove the option in the list it’s coming from.

I have no idea what option you are referring too and what list?
