Formulas: automatically update date 2.5 months before financial year-end
Morning Community. I have a spreadsheet which tracks a number of tasks after a financial year end. These financial yearends are listed and read off another sheet. The problem i have is the tasks remain constant year on year but the financial yearend changes. Is there a way of making the date change automatically, 2.5 months before a financial yearend, to automatically be the end of the next financial year?

Hi Andre,
Would you be able to explain your process a bit more? It would be helpful to see a screen capture of your sheet with the financial year ends listed, and how you are "reading" them from that sheet (are you using formulas, or cell links?)
Then when you say "make the date change automatically", what date/cell/data are you referring to? Would you be able to provide a screen capture of the sheet you are working in as well, identifying where the date is being used? Or is this date being used in a formula? Please block out any sensitive data in your images!
Thanks,
Genevieve
