Populating Drop Down list from column of entries in another sheet

I would like to set up a single call log, where I could put information into a sheet that would have a cell with a pull down that would populate with unique client names (or ID's) from a column in another sheet. So, when I put a log entry in, I could have a list of clients to choose from.

The next step, would be to post the log notes/details to a new row, under the corresponding 'indented' row.

Is something like this doable (if what I said is understandable? :-) )

Answer to both questions.

Unfortunately, it's not possible natively in Smartsheet at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

Workaround for the first question. (Unfortunately, I don't have one for the second one)

As a possible workaround, there are API solutions created, but usually, for my clients, I develop similar solutions with INDEX/MATCH instead, and the only thing you'll need to do is to update the options, but it's possible to simplify the process, so it's not to much work.
