Summary Fields and Subtraction in Sheet Summary

Hi I am trying to subtract a number from one summary field (All Credits Paid) within another summary field (Pending Credits). Not having much luck. The pending credits summary field did have a number in it prior to me messing with formulas. Any help would be appreciated.

Try clicking outside of the cells in the Sheet Summary and it should show again.

No when I click outside of the field I get an error #CIRCULAR REFERENCE

Apologies, I see that now. Remove the SUM and it should work.

I need to first sum the pending credits and then I need to subtract the pending credits from the all credits paid. Maybe that is what is being missed?

Do you have a column of Pending credits that can be summed up? Or is there some way to see if something has been paid already? right now you are referencing the cell you are in so that is why you are getting the circular reference error.
