Right click on the cell in the destination sheet and then select "Link from cell on other sheet". Then select the sheet you want to reference and select the appropriate cell.

Thank you Paul, that is the way I am linking the cells. But may question is How can I get a row (several cells) link to a column. Is there a way to do that?

You would have to do it one cell at a time, or (depending on the exact layout and data) it may be possible to write a formula that you can dragfill.

Thanks Paul!

Happy to help. 👍️
If you are interested in a formula that can be dragfilled let me know. I looked at your screenshots a little more, and I am pretty sure it can be done.

Yes please, could you please share the formula with us.
BTW - I figured it out with cell linking:
*Select the cell on the top of the column in the destination sheet
*Right click and select link from cell in Other Sheet
*Find your source sheet and click on the first cell on the row, then hold down your ctrl key and click on the next one, keep going until the last one you need from that row and click create link and Voila! the collum gets populated.

@lewis hamilton The copy/paste will only capture static data. To create a dynamic link, you would need to follow the steps outlined above.
And yes. That is how you start a formula, but the exact formula required for this particular thread would require a little more information. That's why I didn't offer a detailed suggestion for that solution yet since the formulas could be drastically different depending on the variables.

@Marilu Yanes Whenever I try using your method where I select the top cell in the target sheet and then select multiple cells across a row from the destination sheet, it populates my target sheet across the row instead of down the column.
For the formula...
Is all of the data you need to pull on that same row?
Do all months in the source sheet contain 5 columns?
I notice your screenshot of the target sheet also shows the Variance column. Are you only wanting to pull those two data points (Forecast and Variance), or are you wanting to pull additional points of data?
