Sorting Unlocked Rows or banging my head against the keyboard!
i have a a sheet. no columns are locked. I have a "Date Changes Made" column that i wish to sort in date order example every entry from 7/1, 7/2,7/ 3 etc so that I can have all dates of the current month together. My list is a running list so it contains dates from April-July so far.
When I have used the Sort rows function. it will sort some of them together correctly, but then as I am scrolling down I notice that quite a few of the dates didn't sort, July 10 will be in the middle of April data, and so forth. I have tried ever way possible to sort this thing but to no avail. PLEASE HELP

Do you have any hierarchy in place? Are you able to share a screenshot with sensitive/confidential data removed, blocked and/or replaced with "dummy data"?

Thank you Paul, it was some old hierarchy data that I missed. You rock!

Exactly how are the dates being populated? It could be that some of the dates are being stored as text.

I am entering them manually.
