Edit data in smartsheet using a form

Hi

I have data entry from which is used by one group of people to punch in data. I have created the form for that which sits on a smartsheet. I want to use the same form to retrieve the data (row) in the same form, so that another group can either edit or fill in some other fields which were left blank.

Hi Rajeev,

Once the data is entered it can't be edited via a Form. Forms are used to add new rows of data.

If you want users to be able to edit existing rows of data, send an Update Request, details at https://help.smartsheet.com/learning-track/smartsheet-intermediate/update-requests.

You can create an automation that will automatically send the update request if certain fields are blank to streamline your workflow.
